A Rocket Landing Party(TM) is Sky Rocket's AUTHOR VISIT and assembly
for your students. Our program is more than just a visiting author reciting his or her book.
Our unique presentation, "Reading, Writing & Rocket (TM),"
is designed to invite student participation and is tailored to specific audiences.
Reading & Writing (Grades 1-2)
Encourages reading and writing through an interactive slide presentation highlighting Rocket's journey across Texas. In addition, improvisational techniques are incorporated to stimulate the audience's imagination. By the end of the program, students will have "written" their own special story about Rocket. A fun and interesting way to introduce your younger students to Texas.
Rocket (Grades 3-4)
Enhances learning via an interactive gameshow format entitled, 3-2-1 Blastoff!(TM)
In this program, students are quizzed about Texas as they hear about
Rocket's adventures. An educational and entertaining experience for your older students.
All presentations are approximately 45 minutes in length. All books ordered will be delivered and autographed by "Uncle Chris" on the day of the program.
